Holistic Home Zone Consultation
The Holistic Home Zone Consultation is the most comprehensive home inspection that utilizes the application of the 25 Principles of Building Biology and is enhanced by the InterNACHI Standards of Practice for home inspection to fully assess your home in a holistic fashion.
Your home will be thoroughly assessed according to the 25 Principles of Building Biology. This is a complete and holistic way to view a home, designed to identify issues that could potentially affect the health of the occupants and provide mitigation strategies.
Pricing is based on square footage and includes screening for potential mold issues, VOCs, and non-native EMF exposures. A Building Biology EMF screening includes identifying sources of electric, magnetic, radio frequency (RF), and “dirty electricity” (DE) fields. If needed, mold sampling is $85 per sample collected, not all homes will need this service. The home’s main components will also be visually assessed for defects at the time of the inspection, all findings will be documented in a detailed report. These components include the roof, electrical system (panel and outlets), HVAC system, appliances, and other aspects of the interior and exterior structure. Discounted follow-up consultations are available for clients who have questions after their inspection has been completed or who are in need of future services. Items excluded from inspection for defects: water features, outbuildings, septic tanks, cable and alarm systems, A/V equipment, water treatment systems, and cosmetic items.
